An Evening with Ian McEwan

12 May, 2am | Lecture Theatre 1, University of East Anglia

Ian McEwan returns to Norwich to join Writers’ Centre Norwich and NNF10 in celebration of the city’s bid to become a UNESCO City of Literature. Hear McEwan reading from Solar, his new novel, which tackles the weighty theme of climate change through an increasingly rotund and accident prone character, Michael Beard. Extracts from the draft had the Norwich audience in gales of laughter last year, so you’re bound to be entertained. Then you can find out more in McEwan’s interview with Professor Jon Cook, put forward your own questions, and get your book signed afterwards. Not to be missed.
