The Festival is proud to present the UK premiere of les 7 doigts de la main's acclaimed production, La Vie, which promises to ignite the Spiegeltent's intimate stage. This adult-themed mix of music, theatre, dance and acrobatics brilliantly captures all the excitement of a circus, the intrigue and bawdy humour of a cabaret styled performance and the immediacy of intimate theatre.
Flying high above the audience, a devilishly disruptive MC cajoles his company players below to act out unfulfilled fantasies, reveal hidden taboos and indulge unrequited passions. Whether you appreciate the acrobatic, love the intertwining of anguish and humour or simply want to see a girl in a straightjacket contort herself on a gurney, La Vie is going to be one of the must-see shows of this year's Festival.
